Lumeloch Town Festival

Every year in Lumeloch town, there is a grand festival of sorts. The festival brings people from all over Bohren and other neighboring regions to kick off the opening of the Bohren Pokemon League Season. The town hosts various events such as a Pokemon Contest, carnival games and rides, and on the final day, the first Pokemon Tournament: A single battle, one pokemon only free-for-all. Extremely basic, with high stakes: The first Bohren Tournament Ribbon and a very mysterious and valuable prize!

The gates have finally opened and the Lumeloch festival has begun!

Steelx roared as the water rushed around it, "Enough of this. Earthquake, now."

Steelix roared and smashed its tail onto the ground, shooting a huge Earthquake toward the small Seel.

The Medic's expression quickly changed. He knew his Seel couldn't handle that and he grimaced as the much smaller pokemon fainted. He cursed under his breath and felt on his belt for another pokemon.

"Go, Fritz," he shouted and let out his Seviper.

Perhaps he really had been severely out of practice...No matter, even if he did lose, he'd be able to challenge Armonde once again.

Armonde smiled, a serpent. He wasn't expecting him and the Medic to have something in common. The Steelix was a bit confused for a second thinking that the Seviper was part of his team. But after realizing, no, this was not the same one, it posed for battle.

"Fritz, quickly...Use Night Slash."

He was starting to lose his edge very quickly.

Armonde smirked, "Earthquake." It happened very quickly. The Seviper barley scratched the surface of the Steelix and as it tried to retreat, Steelix sent a powerful earthquake directly at it, pieces of earth piercing through the ground, throwing the Seviper back toward Medic.

This battle was quickly going south and it was causing Tobias to panic. He really had been out of practice for sometime. There was no time to worry about that now, he had to finish this battle.

"Gestank, go!"

A Vileplume appeared out of his next pokeball. Despite how he was losing already, Medic managed to keep his voice calm.

"Now, use Giga Drain."

Armonde tilted his head. This could be a potential disaster for Steelix, with his weakness to Grass type. He knew that the rest of his team would have issues against that Vileplume, it had already taken out more than enough energy from his Steelix. He knew that it was time.

"Steelix." She roared and turned toward Armonde, "Explosion."

Another roar and it dived in toward the Vileplume, wrapping itself around. It's steel starting to shine and then there was a blinding light, Armonde covered his eyes and braced for the shock waves.

Tobias shielded his face and made an utterly frustrated noise. That went far, far too quickly and he was getting down to the last of his team. Withdrawing his fainted Vileplume, he let out his Ursaring.

"Ivan, take care of zhis, bitte."

[serpentmaster]

Armonde returned his fainted Steelix, who seemed to be passed out smiling, "Go, Seviper."

"Seeeeeviper!" It posed for battle ready. Posing a few times, until it noticed the giant Ursaring standing on the other side of the field, "Viii~" it looked back a little nervous.

"It's fine. Swagger, Seviper." Armonde pointed forward. The Seviper turned toward the Ursaring.

"Seeeeeeeviiiii." It began to glow a bright red, staring directly at the Ursaring, raising it's attack and causing severe confusion.

Medic could only curse under his breath as his Ursaring became confused.

"Just do...anyzhing. Earthquake, if you can."

Instead, no, he hurt himself in confusion, causing Medic to curse even louder.

Armonde grinned. He had backed the Medic into a corner. The Ursaring, Ivan, was obviously one of his powerhouse pokemon. He knew he could take it down easily, "Sevipher, Flamethrower."

"Viiii!" the Seviper shot a stream of thick fire at the Ursaring, completely surrounding it in flames.

All Tobias could do was watch as again his Ursaring hurt itself in confusion and combined with the power of the Flamethrower...faint.

"Vell, I can see zhis is going fantastic," he muttered under his breath, "Brunhilde, you are in now."

And out came that grumpy little Chansey from before.

That little angry pink thing...it was so...angry. He couldn't figure out why, but he didn't want to find out. Seviper was too confused on why the Chansey was so angry, "Ignore it's mood Seviper, hit it with a Sludge Bomb."

"Vi~" It twirled for a minute and then shot a giant purple blog from its mouth, which coated the Chansey in sludge.

That just made her look MORE angry. The Sitrus berry she was holding restored some of her health.

"Egg bomb, if you vill."

And...well, she hurled the egg in her pouch at the Seviper. It didn't do much, but it was funny to watch.

"Flame thrower!" Again, he sent flames toward the Chansey, but alas Seviper still couldn't avoid the Egg Bomb, which. He was not amused, shaking bits of yolk off its head. It cried out shaking its head with flames going out of his mouth. Which began to cook the egg that coated its head.

"Viiii" The Seviper stopped realizing that it was now covered in fluffy egg instead of wet egg. It shook it head more and the nicely cooked scrambled eggs fell to the ground.
