Secret training time
Who: Raz and you!
What: A different kind of training
When: Early morning
Where: Sheercliff, town outskirts
Waking up early was never a problem for Raz. What was difficult was trying to find a quiet place in Sheercliff when ever square feet of seemed to be devoted to martial arts training. The fledgling RTF member was interested in another kind of training however. After some searching and sneaking around, he found a spot that seemed just right. He sat down on a large rock and picked up a few pebbles. Today was the day he was going to get this.
Raz tossed a stone into the air and just when it was about land back into his open palm, the rock stopped in mid-air. "Hey, maybe I got it this time." He wiggled his fingers and sent the rock back up into the air, as well as another one, this one a little bigger than the earlier one. "Yes!"

Sheik was frowning as he made his way through Sheercliff. He, too, had risen early - training was important, particularly given the events of only recently. He had been intending to speak with Raz, work out ways they could keep contact with each other and the RTF if this happened again.
Shadow and Dusk at his heels (and a good deal more relaxed around each other), he turned a corner - then stopped short, staring in astonishment. Well. That, it seemed, was probably a useful talent.
Should Raz have happened to turn his head, he'd find his partner leaning against a rocky wall, watching in fascination.

"Ow..." he said. Even with the hat and goggles, they still managed to hurt. It was then he turned around. "Oh hey, Sheik. What's up?"
no subject
Wouldn't that be something to tell someone you worked with?
no subject
"I was going to tell you at some point though. My skills still need work though."

And as for the part about psychics not being taken too well... "My closest friend growing up is psychic," he admitted, "Precognitive. She was raising an Abra when we parted."

He tapped his chin thoughtfully. "She's lucky she didn't have live with my family. He hates psychics since they cursed his family and now everyone in the family is cursed to die in water." Another thing he forgot to bring up.

A curse to die in water? That sounded... unpleasant.
"I have considered looking for a Psychic type myself," he added finally, "My team is... very one-sided. Two Dark-types -" He gestured at the two beside him, and Dusk yawned even as Shadow settled against his feet - "A Dark-Fire, a Grass, an Ice-Ground, and an Electric. It would be good if we could have more than six." A faint crooked smile - he didn't particularly want to get rid of any of them. But he had so many darks...

"We should both get one. I only have a normal type and a fire type on me, so I have some catching up to do myself." He had no intention on giving rid of Aipom and Ponyta since they were circus buddies and most likely were just going to find their way back to him anyway.
no subject
Perhaps he could rotate his team as necessary...
"I don't believe there are many Psychic types to be found around here, though," he sighed. "It's a pity - they would be handy for the gym here."
no subject
"Heh. That would be too easy...though I think you could catch Meditites on the way up here from Quakesburg."

"Sounds like a plan, but we should let the guys at the kiosk know before we go. I'm sure they'd appreciate someone to watch the routes as well in case Team Rocket shows up again."

[ooc: sorry for the late reply. Working the entire weekend. ;;]

Dusk, as if knowing she was being talked about, settled down and folded her paws, looking almost pleased. Behind Sheik, if it had been at all possible, Shadow would have rolled his eyes.
((OOC: S'alright :) You got me JUST before bed!))

"Interesting. I wonder what would've happened if say Aipom and I swapped bodies?" He tossed Aipom's pokeball in the air and caught it.

Still, it probably beat turning into a Gible. That would be new.
