Route 292: Lumeloch to Quakesburg
The road to Quakesburg City is one of the shortest commutes (distance wise) in the entire region of Bohren, but it is also one of the most difficult. The terrain is filled with rocks and caves and high mountian peaks. The road is rarely straight and more or less weaves in and around. Toward the center of the trip there is a pokemon center, but that is all that is along the way.
The road to Quakesburg is a dangerous one...and is not to be taken lightly. At the end of the road there is a a giant cave opening, leading directly into the city itself.
Pokemon on Route 292
Common: Diglett, Geodude, Onix, Paras, Rattata, Spearow.
Uncommon: Phanpy, Hippopotas, Barboach,
Rare: Skarmory, Beldum, Clefairy.
Items: Moon Stones, fossils (all kinds), basic trainer supplies are sometimes lost in cracks and small caves.
All pokemon may be caught here. The RTF are minimal in the area, keeping a close eye on the Skarmory, as they are a protected species. Those that have a red bracelet around their leg may not be caught as they are protected and currently have chicks.
Points of Interests:
-Clefairy Cave: an area where many Clefairy live, here they keep moon stones which they guard heavily, though there have been a few that have been known to escape.
-Fossil Flat: Directly next to the Pokemon center, large flat space with multiple caves has been cleared and is used to dig for fossils. Trainers may pay a flat rate of 500 to attempt to find fossils. Fossils which may be found include Root Fossil, Dome Fossil, Claw Fossil and Helix Fossil.

So, he had decided to wander and see what other trainers were up to. He knew that there was a Pokémon professor in Lumeloch, so walking that path should give him a chance to inspect starting trainers. Corax had flown him there and was currently circling the area high up in the sky, occasionally dropping down to perch on his arm for a bit.
Because walking around with a powerful, evolved Pokémon of your type was a great way of hiding your identity.

And then he caught sight of Dist. Oh, Dist. Wearing his usual ridiculous outfit and parading around with an extremely high-level pokemon. At least Elijah had the sense to keep a low profile while scouting possible new trainers. He and Bobby/Bruce/Steve pulled up alongside the other gym leader.
"Well. Wasn't expecting to see you on this route, mate. Nice buncha kids this go-round, yeah?"

"I got bored. I like what I see so far, though; it's been a while since I've had to try to beat a trainer. I haven't even given out a badge in months." Of course, the last few badges he'd given out were using his beginner's team, so it didn't much bother him that he had to actually admit that someone else won. It wasn't a real battle until he took out his Tyranitar.

As the two highest level gyms and the last two on the circuit, Elijah felt they had something of a shared mission. It was their job, more than any of the other gyms, to prepare the new trainers for the Elite Four.

"I did get bored, yes. No one ever comes to Umberville, and I can only fiddle with my experiments so much before I have to let them run on their own; being a genius, they don't strictly need to be monitored constantly."
Corax decided to pick that moment to come back down, and Dist grinned. "We could have a quick battle here, you know. One on one."

A few moments later, she needed a break and sat down on a large rock. Tonbo landed right next to her. "You're tired too huh? You can rest now." He gave a pleased chirp before returning back to his pokeball. Saori picked out another ball attached to her hip.
"Okay Kai, you can come out, but please behave." She let out the Luxray who shook out his mane before sitting next to her. He did stay quiet until his ears perked up to the sound of someone approaching and he growled loudly.

The call echoed ahead in the rocky surroundings, before the called Gible popped into view. She had no qualms about wandering over to the human and Luxray (avoiding the Luxray slightly) and peering up at them curiously. She didn't remember seeing the girl before, which meant new people. New people were fun.
The blue-haired teen that was her trainer appeared shortly after, out of breath. Gia was enjoying this far too much. "Gia...oh hi," Akito stammered, getting his breath back when he noticed the girl and Luxray. The Luxray was kind of awesome. He'd always wanted a Shinx. "Sorry if Gia was bothering you."
no subject
"Oh no, she wasn't a bother at all," she looked up and smiled at Akito. "I've never seen a Gible in person before. Is it alright to pet it?"
no subject
"Oh, that's good," he replied with a sigh. Gia always got so far ahead of him... "And sure. I don't think Gia will mind." The Gible agreed with that. She was enjoying this place.
no subject
"It's nice to meet you, Gia," she laughed as she pet the Gible. There was something very adorable about the land shark pokemon. She turned her attention to Akito. "I'm Saori and that's my Luxray, Kai."

This is so late, otl.
Pest was trying to cheer him up, making funny faces and darting from tree to tree in order both to surprise him into being happy and keep mostly out of the sunlight. Considering that there weren't actually many trees where they were, this was easier said than done.
He happened on Saori quite by accident -- that is, he was busy swatting Pest away (he didn't much like being licked, no matter how good the pokemon's intentions were) that he ran smack into the other side of her rock. Whoops.
"...ouch."
Better late than never, /o/
"A-are you alright?" Oh, of course he wasn't, she mentally chided herself, he just ran right into a rock for crike's sake.

"Doble! Let's cut this thing up! Waai!"

"'Laaaasss" Frosslass soon to follow, hovered down from the sky and sat in front of the food elegantly. Eyeing Miyako and then back to the watermelons.
"NOIR!" Dusknoir flew from the sky and plopped around the melons, hard enough to make them shake a bit, and the ground round everyone.
The three pokemon eye Miyako as if they were waiting for her to make them a plate.

For a second Miya paused, and then nodded. "Definitely! You guys can share if you want," she said, and split the melon open. She had a kitchen knife, sure, but the stick was far more fun to start with. Her Smeargle clambered up her back and perched itself precariously on top of her head, watching both the watermelons and the other three newcomers. In a few seconds, the melon had been doled out, cut into sixths.
"I'm not very good at geometry, you see," she said with a grin. "Straight cuts are easiest, so someone will get two pieces from this one. We'll do Sumo to see who gets it!" It barely crossed her mind that these three were not natives of the area as far as she'd seen; if they were not attacking her directly, she was fine with sharing. One piece for everyone present.

She set one down and picked the knife back up to cut the other one. "If you three want to hang out, I'm heading to the next tournament to find the best people to paint. I won't make you come if you don't want to, though." She doled out another piece to each of them, and grinned. "I hear there's a cake shop in the next town, too, but I don't have a dime, so..."
She leaned back on her pack and sighed. "Back in New Bark Town there were lots of people I could mooch from, but now out here, it's pretty desolate. That's why me and Doble can't afford to settle down for a while-- we don't have any supplies."

"Oh...I'm sorry Wormadam, I was lost in thought." he shook his head, Wormadam to his side shaking her head as well. She had tried to warn him about the battle and since then he hadn't been right. Contentiously day dreaming and cursing to himself about, "Not fair, just utter Rapidash Dung." Except he didn't say dung.
"Thank you for your help today Wormadam." Sneaking into the lead office and getting that paperwork on all the competitors was more than enough help for Team Rocket. He smiled and patted her on the head.
"Wormaadam!" She nuzzled him with happiness. You can say what you want about him, but Armonde was still decent to his own pokemon.

This was certainly an interesting meeting. Dist wasn't expecting to see anyone he recognized, especially after running into Elijah. But this was interesting; it would give him a chance to do some gloating. Corax fluttered off to do a sweep of the area.
no subject
"Madam." she looked away dramatically. Wormadam was protective of Armonde, sort of a motherly figure and she could feel Armonde's distaste.
"So what have you been stalking me or something?" He wasn't happy that he had out Wormadam, he was hoping to keep her a secret for the world, but oh well. What else could he do.
no subject
And it was true! Dist couldn't be expected to remember every little trainer he defeated, after all. He grinned, winningly.

For now, he went on in the cave, looking for the rarest types to be found. Perhaps he'd look at the Fossil Flat later; fossils were something he'd seen before but never dealt with...The Pokemon that could be obtained were definitely to his interest.

"Permrow." she looked up at Viktor and lifted her paw forward.
"Oi! It's that Medic!" he looked down at Persian, "The one that one the Chingling." He thought back to when he saw the egg hatch...the Medic did not seemed pleased. Maybe the pokemon had grown on him, "Oi! Medic!"
no subject
With an involuntary cringe, he turned to face Viktor.
"Can I help you? I am not on duty at zhe moment."
