Who: Luna and anyone else in the mood for food
What: Dinner!
When: Dinnertime!
Where: Sheercliff Pokecenter, tables outside for wandering trainers or visitors to eat at.
This was one of those rare moments when all of Luna's Pokemon were not only out of their Pokeballs but gathered together rather than set loose in an empty area with a vague order to explore. No, at the moment it was time for dinner, which meant that Luna was sitting on one of the tables furthest from the Center itself, a Mr. Mime, Spiritomb, and Lopunny sitting beside her.
They all,, except for the Spiritomb had plates of food in front of them, ghosts not normally needing or even really wanting food. There was an extra dish, presumably set aside for the Porygon-Z hovering unsteadily above them. He was ignoring it, however, in favor of flying experimentally around the tables and other trainers, still getting used to the weight of his Endangered Pokemon tag.

Milla came forward toward the different tables outside the Pokemon center. A few were full of trainers and their Pokemon, but a girl among them caught her eye. She walked forward toward Luna's table, with her very strange collection and Pokemon and smiled, "Do you mind if I join you?"

"You have a very interesting group of Pokemon." she looked at each one...no common string connecting any of them, all of them were just a bit...odd. Darling, her Jynx, had taken to the Mr. Mime and was watching it closely, with a big smile on her face. While her Espeon watched the Porygon-Z as it floated through the air.

Babbity realized they were being spoken of and glanced up, watching the two trainers suspiciously. He was always nervous of new trainers who tried to talk with Luna rather than simply challenging her to a battle or some other social interaction he actually understood. He also wasn't sure whether to be insulted at being called 'interesting' by a stranger or 'ordinary' by his own trainer.
Loony paid no mind to his trainer or the new one at first, assuming if he was needed for anything beyond enjoying his food someone would alert him. Until, that is, he felt the itchy feeling of being watched and he looked up to see a Jynx smiling broadly in his direction. He blinked, pausing mid-bite.

Jynx winked at the Mr. Mime and chuckled. Milla put some food out for he Pokemon and they all began to eat, except for Lovely, who was making herself dizzy watching the Porygon-Z,

Loony blinked, nonplussed. He was used to many sorts of laughs, often aimed at himself, but chuckles were a rarity.
"Oh, yes, I have," said Luna. "I'm very interested in Bohren, I hadn't realized there was a Region around that didn't have native Pokemon. Very interesting. Are you here for the tournaments?"

Darling was still amused by the Mr. Mime. She picked up her food and walked over to him, sitting down next to him, offering a piece of a bright pink poffin.
"Bohren has been a delight since I have arrived. Though I would much rather be out of the mountians, but I hear after this town we should be out of these mountians for a long while." she smiled and took another bite of her salad.

Loony stared at the poffin piece, tilting his head questioningly. After a moment he deemed it unthreatening and snatched it from her hand, stuffing it into his mouth all in one bite. Swallowing, he smiled at the Jynx and, assuming this was the custom, held out a half of one of his half a dozen condiment sandwiches. He was pretty sure this one was ketchup and mayonaise.
"I quite like the mountains," said Luna. "Though I'm sure I'll quite like the rest of Bohren as well. I've always preferred the wilderness to the city, anyway."
I'm going to assume some of his findings, if that's alright XD just basic rumor mill
Milla had never met Xenophilius Lovegood, but his theories were no stranger to Milla. Some of the research community considered them crackpot theories about various glitch Pokemon, created during the first testing of Porygon. Bad eggs and how they could destroy a PC storage system. Though there were a few that Milla took interest in, like his ideas on the relations of the Cubone family with Kangaskhan.
She smiled at Luna, "Well your father is a brave man indeed! I cannot prove him wrong on the things that he says...though some of them are a little far fetched, if you don't mind me saying. I have a great respect for him."
Darling took the sandwich, excitedly and shoved the entire thing into her mouth. She realized exactly what it was and her eye gave a little twitch. She chewed and swallowed it while still maintaining a smile on her face. What a trooper.
Heh, that's fine. Plenty of hearsay, most likely. XD
Loony's smile widened. This was rather fun. Were they going to keep passing food or was something else they were supposed to do next? He'd never eaten with anyone besides Luna or his teammates before.
Babbity felt as though he was watching a tennis match, turning from glaring at the other trainer when she started using words like 'myth' and 'children's tale' to the absurd interaction of his teammate and the Jynx and back again.

Darling on the other hand, was also curious of what to do next. Mr. Mime seemed happy to exchange food, so she waddled over to Milla and grabbed another Poffin out of the bag and handing it over to Loony.
Bebe was examining Babbity as well, unknown to the rest of the group. She was curious about the Pokemon who seemed awfully defensive of trainer.

Ah, so this was how it went. Loony straightened, believing he understood, and took the Poffin. He stuffed it into his mouth as well and grabbed another sandwich, this time taking a moment to pick. Perhaps she'd enjoy soy sauce on wheat bread?
Babbity was feeling a bit lost, food now untouched before him. He was used to people insulting Luna or her father, or quickly and awkwardly changing the subject...but someone who claimed to admire the elder Lovegood? A respectful discourse about his research? Babbity's eyes narrowed thoughtfully. He suspected sarcasm purely out of habit, but he didn't sense it, so...

Darling took the sandwich, still smiling, but looked up, eating it painfully. She did not like this as at all. She preferred sweeter foods. But she ate the whole thing and quickly grabbed Milla's water bottle and took a few big gulps. She turned back to Loony and smiled joyously, she wanted new friends!

Loony clapped gleefully, but wasn't sure where to go from here. Were they to keep going, because truth be told he wasn't very fond of Poffins, and his stack of sandwhiches was dwindling worryingly fast. Babbity, feeling that Luna was happily involved in her conversation and things were going well for the moment, was watching the Jynx+Mr. Mime interplay with an odd fascination. He rolled his eyes when Loony hesitated and leaned across the table to whisper in his ear. "Show her one of your routines," he offered, and then leaned back satisfied. Either the Jyxn would be polite and clap appreciatively, or she'd react like most of Loony's spectators. Loony, in his never-ending innocence, had become convinced that throwing food was how you showed appreciation, so either way, he'd be fine.
Loony beamed and immediately sprang off the picnic bench and went right into one of his tried and true Pantomime performances. He loved having new audiences, and he knew what to do with one, though he was admittedly more experienced with the type that threw vegetables than the type that clapped. He hoped vaguely the Jynx wasn't going to throw anymore Poffins.

All of Milla's Pokemon turned their attention toward Loony as he started his routine. Darling, Lovely and Irma were highly entertained, but Bebe was not, she simply went back to politely eating her dinner, while the other three beamed at the pantomime.

Loony couldn't remember the last time he'd finished a routine uninterrupted and then looked up from his end-of-show bows to find an audience still there watching, smiling. He beamed, then hesitated, not sure what to do next. He liked meeting new Pokemon! But what did you do once you'd met them?

Irma jumped down from the table and attempted to imitate Mr. Mime's pantomime, the tiny Shiny Meditite laughing to herself as she did. How did it do such a thing, she was wondering. Lovely and Darling clapped on, laughing with Irma. They too were curious as to how someone would do such a thing.

Loony watched with some bemusement at the tiny Pokemon copying his routine. Then he shrugged and went along with it, now copying Irma's attempts with some delight, mirroring her efforts with a bit more practice. Copying the audience, the cornerstone of any good pantomime performance.
