Re: Semi Finals Bracket Two
The hit was brutal. Zap went spinning end-over-end and crashed into the side of the tank, shaking his head rapidly. He was listing to one side and badly bruised, and that Carvahna was still coming.
"CONFUSE RAY!" Skyler yelled, hoping she could get through to him. Zap was barely hanging on. But then - the distorted waves came shimmering from his lure as he swam, slowly and tiredly, back to his side of the field.
Re: Semi Finals Bracket Two
It did. And it had the side effect of sending Carvanha crazy.
The Rage build-up was sending the Pokemon nuts, thrashing around the water. Agito swore again, watching as Carvanha tore around, just hoping that one of those attacks would go Zap's way. Either that or his Pokemon was in danger of crashing into the side of the tank, and that would seriously hurt it.
Re: Semi Finals Bracket Two
He powered through the water as fast as he could, but the Carvahna's moves were so unpredictable. It cut across Zap's trail, and he couldn't stop.
Skyler flinched - both pokemon were on a collision course. "Thunder, Zap!" she said, gripping the railing.
Whether or not the command got through in time...
Re: Semi Finals Bracket Two
The collision had sent Carvanha reeling, stung as well from the electricity that had hit him. He slowly surfaced, no longer confused but definitely hurting. The paralysis sparks danced over his scales, panting slightly and bruised. The red glow from Rage was still strong, but it wasn't affecting Carvanha's temper. He was hurting too much.
Agito watched him for a moment before looking up to see what had happened to Zap. Carvanha was really too tired for much more. But if that attack had knocked the other Pokemon out...
Re: Semi Finals Bracket Two
Skyler pulled out her pokeball and returned him, turning to the ladder leading down from her platform. "Good battle!" she called to Agito. "That Carvanha is something else, you know. But..." She grinned at him. "If it was raining, I think this would have gone a lot different."
Re: Semi Finals Bracket Two
Hearing Skyler, he looked up, then moved for the ladder. "Tch. You might've done more damage, but Rage would have still been strong enough," he replied, uninterested in 'could have been's. A point he was constantly arguing with Akito over. His other was cheering happily that he'd won, though was also worried about Zap and Carvanha. They both needed healing pretty badly.
