Got my badges and my Pokéball
Who: Yellow and anyone else passing by!
What: Pokémon-reading time!
Where: Everywhere in the Quakeburg area.
Okay, getting to Bohren was, of course, the easy part. However, getting lost was also just as easy. Where was she, anyway? She did recall Professor Oak telling her that he needed help getting information in this region, even though that was more of Crystal's part...
But the weird things that he said were things about this area not having any "new" Pokémon. Yellow did think that was weird, but did they really have to send her? She wasn't as talented as the Seniors or the Juniors when it came to battling, and nor did she want to do so.
"Chuchu, you think we'll be able to find our way to the city...?" And as soon as she heard the small squeal from the mouse, she nodded in return. "You're right. We'll find our way there."

Gia blinked the stars away, then blinked again at Yellow. New person! She dug back to the surface and bounced over, chirping up at her curiously.
Her trainer was not too far away, following the channel left behind by Gia's fin. Akito hummed to himself, wondering how far ahead she had gotten...

She then decided to wait for the answer, though she wouldn't have to wait very long for it.

"Ah, Gia, there you are," the light commented with a smile. He didn't recognise the girl though. Girl? Hm. Girl. Hard to tell, but he was fairly sure. "Hi, I hope Gia wasn't bothering you. We were practising her Dig move. She only just learned it."

Her partner, Chuchu also gave a small squeak as well, happy to meet the trainer of the Gible. "I'm sorry if I was bothering your training! ...I'm Yellow by the way, and this is Chuchu!"

"I'm Akito~ It's nice to meet you both. And you weren't interrupting! Gia was just practising. She doesn't battle, so training isn't something we stick to." He reached out a little, to see if ChuChu would let him pet her. "Quakeburg isn't too far from here. Only a few minutes."

Chuchu, knowing that the boy wasn't of Team Rocket went closer to allow the boy to pet her. It had been quite a while since she had met trainers. However, that reminded her of Red...who she missed dearly. Why couldn't he have just come with her?
"Do you mind showing me, then?"

"Viridan Forest, wow. I've always wanted to go to Kanto. I'm from Sinnoh, Hearthome City. This is the first time I've been to another region," he commented with a smile. "That's really neat, being able to talk to Pokemon. I kind of understand Gia, but being able to talk to other Pokemon too would be awesome."
Gia chirped, stopping Akito from getting too side-tracked. "Sure, I can show you~" He stood up carefully, Gia bouncing around his feet, making him laugh.

Talking to Pokémon was one of her special abilities for being born in the Viridian Forest. However, it wasn't her only thing. She had brought her fishing rod with her just in case something went wrong, especially when she had to battle someone dangerous.
But she wasn't too worried.

The little Gible decided to scramble up onto his head, perching up there happily as the light walked. "Quakeburg's actually really nice for being all underground," he commented to Yellow. "It's really pretty, with the way it's all lit up."

And the forests weren't tainted here, like it was back in Viridian. But even so...she loved the forest back at home. Being so far away from home worried her, since she was connected to the forest in the first place.
"Pikaaa," Chuchu responded, telling her not to worry so much. Yellow just smiled back and didn't say anything, not wanting to worry the person who was leading the way to the city.

Curious, he moved in closer to get a good look at the new face.

"There you are! I know you were getting antsy being stuck in your pokeball, but you could've got lost if you flew off like this." She turned to Yellow and smiled. "I hope he didn't give you any trouble."

It wasn't a lie, and Chuchu proved that fact to be true, look how happy it was!

Tonbo landed carefully on her shoulder. Kai gave a stern look at Tonbo, and the Yanma's wings dropped a little. The Luxray didn't have to say a word to express his disappointment in the dragonfly for causing their trainer trouble like that.
