Novemeber Event!
It was like any other boring day in Sheercliff. There were whispers floating around that they gym leader was never going to return. Officials had sent their best into the mountains to search for the master, but so far, there was no luck. Luckily, two officials suggested a small tournament where everyone battles with their each others pokemon.
Of course, everyone was ecstatic. Finally something else to do beside dojo tournaments. One by one, trainers came out and dropped their pokeball into a large "mixing machine" and awaited for everyone's pokemon to be scrambled. Suddenly, as if out of no where, there was a cloud of thick purple smog. The officials revealed themselves as member's of Team Rocket. All the pokeballs shoved into a large sack. The duo dove off the cliff and landed gracefully, with the aid of their own pokemon, on a fairly large boat which was sitting toward the very bottom of the cliff. The pokemon were released into thick metal cages.
Screaming and shouting! The Town was in panic. The RTF was low on numbers, as a large majority of were searching for the Sheerfcliff gym leader. No one was quite sure what happened next. As if out of no where, the trainers and their pokemon switched bodies. A few trainers swore they saw a big pink bubble in the sky before, but all they knew was that they were now in their pokemons bodies, and their pokemon now trapped in their trainers bodies! Everyone was now panicking, the Boat sped off in the sea. Leaving everyone confused and disoriented.
What had just happened???
((OOC: This post will be used for the event, please make sure to note in the subject if you are a Trainer in a Pokemons body or a Pokemon in a trainers body. The resolution to this event is left to you! All Pokemon are in thick metal cages, if they have means to get out, they may try and perhaps may be successful. I apologize for the delay! As both your mods were eaten by NaNo :) HAVE FUN!))

Absol!Sheik, hell yeah, WE'RE ON A BOAT
"Ah!" he yelped, stumbling back (not an easy task, considering he was now standing on twice the usual number of limbs). Stumbling over his own... paws, he stared around, half-panicked.
He had entered Dusk in the competition... and then she and the other Pokemon had been stolen... he had raced forward to try and catch up with Team Rocket on foot, but suddenly he had found himself in a cage, and...
"What's going on?" he called, distressed to find that he now sounded like a Pokemon, too.
Gible!Akito anyone?
But then Team Rocket had appeared. Akito had known about them, but never dealt with them before. It was all Team Galactic in Sinnoh, really. But these guys were stealing Pokemon and that wasn't on. Gia was in there!
Then confusion. Something...strange had happened. He was in a cage, which was alarming enough, but...
First thing Akito realised was that he was alone. Totally alone. Agito was...gone. The next thing he realised was that...he looked like a Gible.
Akito shrieked slightly, before hearing someone else. It sounded like an Absol, but...he understood what it was saying. That wasn't possible...
"Wh-what...s-something's wrong..." he muttered, trying to calm down so he could think. He was in Gia's body maybe... "Let me out!" he yelled, trying to ram the cage bars. Gia was strong, but it didn't seem to matter. He had to get free...he had to find Agito...
no subject
"Any luck?" the 'Absol' asked dryly, watching as Akito rammed himself against the bars. "And yes, something is most assuredly wrong."
no subject
Akito was trembling a little now. He was in Gia's body, and Agito wasn't with him. The situation was not one he liked at all. "Agito..." Why wasn't his other half here?
He tried to ram the bars again, whimpering as it hurt slightly. Those things were strong...he glanced at the Absol who had spoken. "I...I can't do this...I don't know what I'm doing..."

Houndoom!Bri
She had spent the last few minutes quietly freaking out, curled up in a ball with her tail (WHAT SHE HAD A TAIL) curled up over her nose, trying to figure out what had happened. Obviously she was in Faust's body. Faust was in a cage being taken... somewhere.
This was so not on and she knew exactly who to blame for it.
But at the sound of the pokemon - people - pokemon - whatever in the next cage on the verge of a panic attack, she had decided to speak up. "Uh, who is everyone? I'm Bri, I'm a ranger - Faust is my houndoom.

Human!Hermes is not a happy camper
So, he was quite perturbed to pop out in a cage, on a boat, and not in any position to do some spying. Still, not all that bad. Sure, watching Kurt and the other trainers rapidly shrink out sight gave him a sick feeling inside, but he was a pro at getting out of cages after his years in the research facility, sneaking out in the middle of the night to steal snacks from the breakroom or hair care products from the samples. It would be a snap to get out of this situation, and he closed his eyes to ponder just exactly how to do that.
And then he opened them and suddenly it was really bad. Because he may no longer be on a boat, or in a cage, or being unwillingly spirited away from his trainer...but he was now a foot and a half taller, much more clothed, and virtually furless. Oh sweet Arceus, he was human.
Human!Seviper is freaking out.
Seviper was not used to being away from the team. They were a family. He was mostly shocked when Armonde told him he was the solo choice for the mini-tournament. Not Arbok, no Gyarados, not Steelix, but him. He was proud to be chosen, but when he found himself in an extremely long cage, he feared for the worst. He tried to be strong, he was about ready to melt the bars off with his flamethrower attack, when suddenly everything went white. He was nothing for a few moments, and then he was on a cliff. Surrounded by other confused looking humans. He tried to let out a cry, but in stead sputtered out words. His tongue small, and arms? Legs? He fell over a few times, trying to maintain standing, "W-What?! What is happening?!" he looked at his body and his cloths.
He was Armonde. If he was Armonde, that meant Armonde was now him. What was happening?! He turned to the closest trainer he could find, a smaller boy that he felt he had seen before, "Whats going on?!?!"

Hermes was thankfully distracted from this distressing line of thought when he finally heard the frantic question from the trainer beside him. Not that he could answer it, of course. "I don't know!" he snapped, too concerned to be comforting. "I was just--wait. Are you talking about the Team Rocket thing or the...other thing?" What if he was the only one who'd been...changed? A quick glance around showed that most of the other trainers were panicking, but they could be concerned about the mass robbery that had taken place.

"I have to get back to my body...or back into my body. I don't even know how I would. Oh GOD! WHAT AM I GOING TO DO?!" He still couldn't figure out how to get up and ended up just rolling around on the floor, in tears, panicking.
"OH! AND MASTER! WHAT IF HE IS IN MY BODY?! HE IS GOING TO BE SO ANGRY." more rolling, and then flailing of limbs.
Human!Tonbo does NOT approve
"Wha-WHAT IS THIS?!"
Human!Babbity would like to punch something now
...Wait. Trying not to panic, he stared at the long locks, the very recognizable long locks...the rather unique accessories, the...his dawning understanding was interrupted by a shout from further down the hallway and he spun around, sprinting towards the voice instinctively. He reached the panicking trainer he didn't recognize, but before Babbity could do more than realize this, he, too, glanced into the mirror.
"Oh...oh no..."
no subject
He held back the urge to cry, even though this event was distressing him greatly. After all, he was the mighty Tonbo, the one Saori could rely on no matter what.

Jynx!Milla
Of course, she was not shocked in the least. Stranger things had happened. She tried to get used to the movements and her actual form. She was fairly stocky in comparison, though her hips were about the same, so there was no issue there. She then tried to figure out how to use moves. Her psychic abilities were still attached. If she could just get herself back to her own body, she could easily use her pokemon to help transfer herself back.
"Now how do I make ice..." she stared at the bars and screamed a bit, that didn't work. She tried to focus her energy but ended up just shaking the cage a bit. Ah! She had figured out Psychic, good. Now if she could just figure out how to use Ice beam...
Lopunny!Luna
She was in fact, crouched in a cage far too short for her, fist raised as though about to punch someone, and significantly furrier than she recalled. "...Hm," she said finally, after a long pause. And of course, what came was, "Pun...", so. That explained a few things. Her eyes narrowed as she stared at her much smaller fist thoughtfully, taking a moment to process this new development (some sort of body-switching, most likely. or at least, she was now in Babbity's body, couldn't assume that meant that Babbity was in hers...but could assume that this changed the situation quite a bit.), but she was startled from these thoughts when her cage suddenly shook violently.
Glancing up and around, she saw all the other captured Pokemon, all panicking and shouting--though she noted with interest that while she still heard the sounds of Pokemon as she knew them, they also were quite clearly as understandable as human speech. And when she glanced to the side she saw... "Darling!" Or. Maybe. "Milla?"
no subject
"How very strange! How could something like this happen." she sighed. They were going to have to work three times as hard to get out of her. But luckily they had new abilities, but only if she could master them....
no subject
It was a strange question to ask, but Bri figured that any actual pokemon would think they were... just strange.
Human!Dusk, ready for action!
Which was why it was rather peculiar to see him land hard on his backside.
"Ow!" 'he' yelped - then promptly looked astonished. That... had not been what Dusk had expected to come out of her mouth.
Indeed, she didn't even have her own mouth any more.
Or her own body in general, really - how did humans get around on two legs all the time? It was so hard to balance! Oh, she had known that this tournament was a bad idea... she had tried to warn her new master! Now look at their predicament!
Speaking of which... where was he? She had been turned in to a human, hadn't she? Perhaps she could tell him what...
Those were his shoes at the end of her new legs, weren't they.
Well, that made things more complicated...
Human!Faust is not happy
That was an understatement - the dark expression on the normally cheerful and friendly Bri's face bordered on frightening.
After the initial moment of pure disorientation, when he had staggered sideways into a convenient building to try and get his balance back, he'd come to the unfortunate conclusion that he was stuck in his trainer's body. Which meant that he was effectively helpless.
The young trainer who stumbled in front of him was someone he recognized, and he narrowed his eyes, still holding himself up on the side of a building. "You're... Sheik? Or... someone else?"
no subject
Tilting her head (well - tilting Sheik's head) as she studied the other, a frown crossed her (his?) face. "Are you a human or a Pokemon?"
no subject
He offered his arm to the trainer, something he had seen humans do. Now he knew why - they obviously couldn't balance on their own. Leaning on each other only made sense. "Your trainer is a Ranger, so is mine."
no subject
Of course, Sheik hadn't even noticed her distress when they had woken up, had he? And now look where that had got her - on two legs!
"How do humans walk like this?"

Being stuck in a cage, well. That annoyed him. Greatly.
Hoping that Rava herself was alright (Was she in his body? She wouldn't be happy about that...), he proceeded to figure out how to use her moves. It didn't take to long to figure out Dragon Claw, which he was currently using to batter away at the bars. Slowly he was wearing them down. It'd be faster if he could get Flamethrower working, but he didn't want to set fire to anything yet. Better to be free and get anyone else free first.
"Someone's going to pay for this," he muttered, tail lashing angrily. Any other time this would be freaking awesome, but noooo, Team Rocket had to try something stupid. Shawn was going to kick their tails into next week.
